Internet Marketing Examples

Here are some examples of how we've used Internet Marketing to promote our clients' small businesses...

Social Media Exceeds Business Owners’ Expectations

Social Media Exceeds Business Owners ExpectationsA recent study by Webs.com shows that approximately 2/3 of small business owners have a presence on Facebook…

Over three quarters of the survey respondents plan to increase their use of social media this year, while almost one in five plan to maintain the same amount of effort they did in 2010.

We see this as great news not just because we are in the internet marketing business but because it shows that small business owners are more aware of the importance of having social media as part of their marketing plans.

A couple of days ago we arrived home to find a brand new Yellow Pages at our door.  Both of us groaned because we knew we were just going to recycle it.  Of course all of our neighbors had received one too and there is now a stack of Yellow Pages at one end of the hall.  Conclusion: The Yellow Pages, The Red Pages, Dex etc. are no longer “the one that gets used.”

How to (Legally) Steal Groupon’s Email List | Case Study #3

How to (Legally) Steal Groupons Email List | Case Study #3We’ve already done some popular posts on how we use Groupon to jump-start our clients’ email marketing campaigns…

But today, I’d like to talk about some actual results we’ve achieved from using this strategy…

  • They didn’t have an email list or a Facebook following to market to.

Sound familiar? I know a lot of businesses are in this exact situation!

Anyway, this is when we decided to do something drastic…

We decided to hijack Groupon’s email list to build Vero Amore’s! [Read more...]

Facebook Ad Marketing | Case Study #2

Facebook Ad Marketing | Case Study #2One of the biggest problems I have with Facebook and Social Media in general is the tremendous potential these media have for wasting time!

Don’t get me wrong, we use it for business (for ourselves and our clients), but we’re efficient about it…

For example, one of the most efficient ways to use Facebook is to set up a Fan Page for your business, create a Capture Page that collects people’s contact info (these do work… IF you have an attractive bribe), and send people directly there through paid Facebook Ads.

No pussy-footin’ around spamming your “friends’” walls or emails with your links…

Heck, you don’t even gotta be “friends”!

It’s just good ole fashioned direct response marketing, my friend.

What’s that mean?

Well, it’s simple, really… [Read more...]
