Why we ONLY Like to work with established businesses

Why we ONLY Like to work with established businessesDon’t get me wrong, Monique and I love entrepreneurs and would to like help everyone we can…

However, that being said… we ONLY like to work with established, brick and mortar business owners!

Why?

Because there’s a lot that goes into creating a successful business… and although marketing is a major piece, it isn’t the only piece.

Here’s how I see it… Every business needs these 6 things to be successful:

1) A Marketing Plan

For Internet Marketing, for example, you’ll need a strategy to get web traffic to your website or landing page. This could be through SEO, Paid Traffic, Social Media, etc.

2) A Marketing Pipeline

This is your method of getting your website traffic into your store to buy stuff from you.

We always try to get web visitors to leave their contact info so they can be followed up with over time, because people rarely buy right away. (Email Marketing works great for this.)

Obviously, we can help with the first two things on my list… but there’s more to it! For example, you’ll also need…

3) Products or Services to sell

This one’s pretty obvious, right ;)

4) A Method to close the sale

This is your sales team, cash register, etc. This could be an online shopping cart, too, of course.

5) Customer Service

No matter how great the product or service is, this is always a necessary element to any business.

6) Accounting

A method to keep track of sales, invoices, taxes, etc.

(I’ve probably forgot a few things here, so feel free to add them in the comments.)

The point is we can only do so much… and we don’t specialize in business plans or helping start-ups.

We focus on getting new prospects in your marketing pipeline, marketing to them, and getting them in your store… the rest is up to you!
